Vivus Luka offered apartments in five separate buildings within sight of the Prokopské údolí valley. A total of 227 flats of various sizes and layouts from 1-bedroom to 4-bedroom apartments were built. The ground-floor apartments had front gardens, while the apartments on the higher floors had terraces facing south towards the Prokop Valley in addition to balconies. The terraced design of the buildings meant that terraces were not only part of the apartments on the top floors, but could also be enjoyed by the owners of apartments on the lower floors of the building. The building also included parking spaces or cellars on the underground floor.
Vivus Luka was built almost on the edge of the protected area of the Prokop Valley, which offers leisure opportunities. In addition to playgrounds and a stream, there is also a nature trail. At the same time, the cycle path running through the Prokop Valley means you can get to Hlubočepy, another part of the vast Prague 5 district. A few minutes' walk from Vivus Luka lies the metro station of the same name, which will take you anywhere in the city in just a few minutes. At the same time, there are many shops and services as well as a kindergarten near the station.
Construction of the project started in the third quarter of 2014. Following the relatively short earthworks, the ceilings above the first underground floor started to take shape in November 2014. The buildings were then already under construction by the end of the first half of 2015. The footbridge over Jeremiášova street was erected towards the end of the summer of the same year. The finishing works were carried out by the spring of 2016, so that the building could be approved in May 2016, after which the apartments were handed over to their owners during the summer of 2016.
Concreting of the underground floor is in progress.
The basement ceilings are being concreted.
Advanced phase of rough construction.
Rough construction completed.
The principal feature of the project were glass railings that accentuated the architectural importance of the outdoor spaces belonging to the individual apartments. Large terraces, balconies and front gardens have elevated the quality of the project on the edge of the Prokop Valley. At the same time, a footbridge over Jeremiášova street was built as part of the project, which ensured a safe crossing not only for the owners of apartments in the Vivus Luka project, but for the entire locality.
