About project

Vivus Kamýk includes 119 residential units and 9 non-residential premises. A supermarket on the ground floor of one of the smaller buildings is also now one of the commercial spaces. They traditionally comprised a wide range of units, from small studios to four-room apartments. Garage parking spaces were a matter of course, but thanks to the supermarket we also built the necessary number of outdoor parking spaces.

Location

Vivus Kamýk was built at the intersections of Mariánská and U Kamýku streets in Prague 4. Close to the Kamýk forest and the park by the Zátišský brook, near schools and kindergartens and with a supermarket located directly in one of the buildings. But of course also with other shops and services in the nearby area. The perfect bus line means Vivus Kamýk residents can reach Kačerov metro station C in 10 minutes. The Lhotka swimming pool is just a few minutes' walk away, which is ideal not only on hot days.

Schedule

The construction contractor was selected in March 2011. The actual construction began a month later. The rough construction of the smaller building "B" was completed during the summer of the same year. The rough construction of the larger building "A" was completed in early spring 2012. In November 2012, building "B" was approved ahead of schedule, and approval was also granted for building "A” in January 2013. The building’ new residents were able to start moving in in the spring of 2013, and the commercial operations, including the supermarket (which was opened in November 2012), were able to open at the same time.

Earthworks are in progress.

Standards

Not all apartments in Vivus Kamýk had a traditional outdoor space, such as a balcony, but they had unconventional glass loggias. The exception were apartments on receding floors, which included terraces. It is also worth mentioning the green roofs, which were far from being common in new buildings at the time the development was constructed.
