Kolbenova Praha 9 – Vysočany, originally the industrial part of the city, maintains its unmistakable industrial style. Thanks to the city’s support and development activities, it has become a modern and interesting quarter of Prague in terms of architecture and city planning, offering new homes directly at the metro B line “Kolbenova” station, only 130 m away (a 2-minute walk), complex community facilities and opportunities for sports and arts activities. You can enjoy jogging, cycling or in-line skating on the bicycle path along the revitalised Rokytka river. The Vysočany shopping centre, Galerie Fénix, is located only one metro station away; it is here that you can find a wide range of services available all year long, including the I´m Fit fitness and wellness centre. The seat of City District Prague 9, schools, kindergartens, a theatre, post office and many gastronomical culinary facilities, e.g. the Na Radnici pub with the best tradition of the Czech tank beer Pilsner Urquell and delicious Czech meals, are all located directly by the Vysočanská metro station.

In the vicinity, new residential and commercial buildings have been and are still being built. There is a wide range of shops, services and supermarkets in the area including Lidl or Kaufland (a 5-minute drive), – the “Galerie Harfa” commercial and administrative centre with almost 160 shops near the O2 arena. A health centre, pharmacy and many other services are located at the “Českomoravská” metro station. When it comes to shopping, you can visit other shopping centres, such as OC Černý Most or OC Letňany.
